What is the X factor that allows some companies to rocket ahead while others churn away in the starting blocks?

A new workshop targeted for small-to-medium sized business (SMB) leaders in Vancouver will explore the latest ‘Execution Imperatives’ that are separating the winners from losers in today’s fast-shifting environment.

The May 18 event, at the Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver, is hosted by Results Canada Inc., a leading business consulting firm that recently launched a new Vancouver-based practice. Registration information is available at www.resultsci.com. Those interested are advised to register right away as limited space is filling up quickly.

“We are extremely excited to host our inaugural Vancouver event with this dynamic forum tailored for CEOs, owners and senior management across the SMB sector,” says Clifton Kanto, Practice Director – Vancouver, Results Canada.

“The featured topic will cut to the heart of the matter on what approaches are proving to be the true difference makers for driving success today, with very timely and relevant information based on real world examples. Participants will leave armed with knowledge on specific strategies and the latest best practices. The event is also designed to provide an excellent networking opportunity for the Vancouver SMB community.”

The interactive workshop, led by featured speaker Tim O’Connor, Results Canada CEO, will explore the characteristics of winning organizations, illustrated by case study examples from a number of companies charging ahead in the sector today. It will dissect the broad differences in results between players in the same industries with access to similar resources, inputs and know-how – zoning in on the ‘Execution Imperatives’ that are separating those leading the pack from those trailing behind.

“This forum is designed specifically for ambitious, open-minded business leaders who are focused on taking the overall health and performance of their organizations to dramatically higher levels” says O’Connor. “It will link best practices in the areas of culture, strategy, talent and leadership, with real examples of how western Canadian firms are putting these practices to work.”

O’Connor is a founder of Results Canada who has been a partner and contributor in business development and client delivery since 1998. He is driven by a passion for addressing chronic issues and driving success for SMB organizations – namely via disciplined execution.

The workshop will highlight the latest insights on the role execution plays in driving higher levels of success, while providing participants with a crash course in the fundamentals critical to implementing an effective Execution Framework.

“Today’s business environment brings many challenges, but as this discussion will illustrate, it also rich in opportunities for those who apply the right execution framework to maximize their potential,” says Kanto. “We are looking forward to very energetic and fruitful discussions, both during the workshop and the networking sessions, that will provide a lot of value for all participants.
